Description

ValveTech has developed and qualified a wide range of manually operated valves for a variety of applications. These include components that are operated by manual means only and solenoid operated devices with optional manual controls.

Component types include both positive shutoff and metering control of flow.

Operator types include common hand tools such as wrenches and square drives and special tools to prevent unauthorized operation.

Other mechanisms can be provided that are driven by hand, without any special tooling required. The valves can be detented, remaining in the last commanded position, or close automatically when released.

Special operators for use with an astronauts EVA gloved hand have also been produced.

ValveTech manually operated valves are used in a variety of applications, including space flight, handling hazardous substances, and high and low temperatures.
